Platelet-Rich Plasma is a non-surgical procedure in which plasma, rich in platelets is filtrated from whole blood. A blood draw is performed in clinic and the platelet rich fraction of blood is applied to the desired area. Applications of platelet-rich plasma includes skin rejuvenation, thickening areas of hair loss, improvement of dark pigmentation and acne scars.
